Valentine’s Day Dinner at SlotWorld

Valentine’s Day Dinner at SlotWorld

The lobster was rich and succulent with drawn butter to drench it in. There was seasoned juicy prime rib so tender the knives were left untouched. On the side was shitake mushroom risotto to add an earthy creaminess as complement to the double entree’s.

To wash this all down were dueling glasses of 2009 Simi Sonoma Chardonnay and 2007 Raymond Sommelier Select Cabernet Sauvignon. The first brought suggestions of nectarine, peach and crisp green apple wrapped in a toasty, vanilla laced oakiness. The latter offered currant, black cherry and an herbaceous, light leather and cedar backbone that, as the evening progressed, drank easy and often.

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by indulging the senses. SlotWorld Casino of Carson City was proud to facilitate this, gastronomically speaking, for twelve lucky couples who on February 7 had their tickets picked in the 12th annual Valentine’s Dinner Drawing. Judging by the comments made as the guests departed sated and satisfied, with to-go boxes in hand, what has become one of the most sought after promotions SlotWorld hosts, the dinner did not fail to delight in every way.
