The lobster was rich and succulent with drawn butter to drench it in. There was seasoned juicy prime rib so tender the knives were left untouched. On the side was shitake mushroom risotto to add an earthy creaminess as complement to the double entree’s.
To wash this all down were dueling glasses of 2009 Simi Sonoma Chardonnay and 2007 Raymond Sommelier Select Cabernet Sauvignon. The first brought suggestions of nectarine, peach and crisp green apple wrapped in a toasty, vanilla laced oakiness.
