RAW BEANS…
SlotWorld sources raw beans from all over the world — Columbia, Kenya, Sumatra, El Salvador and many other coffee-growing regions.
ROASTING BEANS…
Once the raw beans have roasted to a time and temperature formula that produces a particular style we’re seeking, they are immediately dropped to a cooling platform to stop the roasting process.
Cooling Beans
The beans are stirred and air is fanned up through the bed to aid the cooling process. The length of time and temperature of the roast will determine whether the style is a stronger, more robust grind or a milder yet more complex beverage.
Bean Inspection
Beans that fail the roast, are discolored or otherwise don’t meet the criteria for further processing are removed from the batch. Like the one bad apple, one bad bean can impart a bitter taste to your cup.
The glorious aroma of fresh-roasted coffee is encapsulated in every bean, just waiting for a fresh grind and brew to deliver a wonderful cup.
